My biggest phobia is snakes, can’t stand them. I remember the first time I watched Raiders of the Lost Arc with the scene with Harrison and all the snakes I thought I was going to have a panic attack.

Well, I’ve always had a fear of driving over a bridge over water. I keep envisioning having an accident the vehicle going into the water & being trapped.

I have a fear of driving which definitely affects my life. I drive when I have to but even though I went through a couple years when I was driving 90 minutes every day I still hated every minute. Oddly enough, I’m not afraid of “normal” things like snakes, spiders, public speaking, flying, etc.

Fear of going into deep water, only because I can’t swim. But not really a phobia because I can be on deep waters in a canoe without fear. I have dreams where I’m suffocating and can’t wake up.

I used to have a horrible phobia of all insects. But I got over it by subjecting myself to the insects. Picking up spiders and setting them outside, or catching crickets and putting them outside. But I can’t get over my phobia of bee’s, wasps, hornets. They just freak me out.

Besides the typical spider phobia I have one with driving. I don’t like to change lanes and I won’t drive parkways. I have no sense of direction which doesn’t help. so mostly I do local driving but it sure does keep me from doing things!

No, I don’t think I have any fears that qualify as phobias. I’m probably too blase that nothing bad will ever happen…
